Meet Ashley Letrice: Founder of Ajah Veda Wellness

I’m not just a holistic health counselor or a wellness entrepreneur. I am a woman reborn through fire. A mother. A survivor. A visionary. A Scorpio Sun, Cancer Moon, Scorpio Rising—a woman of deep waters and fierce transformation. My brand reflects my values and aspirations, and I am excited to bring you along on this adventure. This isn’t just a business—it’s a soul mission. And this is my story.

A Legacy Born From Pain

For years, I lived behind armor. As a former biomed tech in the military and hospitals, I knew how to fix machines—but not the pain inside my body. I was the strong one. The smart one. The one who survived the kind of marriage that scars you in layers: emotionally, physically, sexually. A marriage where my voice was silenced, my body was violated, and my spirit dimmed.

I stayed for my son. I stayed because I didn’t know I could leave. But when the pain became a scream in my bones, I listened. And I left. My younger sister, whose middle name was Ajah, passed away last year—but her spirit lives through me. Through this brand. Through every product, post, and prayer I offer to the world. As a woman entrepreneur, I wanted to create a space where individuals can find products that resonate with them on multiple levels. My goal has always been to blend creativity with practicality.

The Awakening

I had a spiritual breakthrough during the March 2024 lunar eclipse and Mercury retrograde. My soul cracked open. I saw the patterns, the people-pleasing, the self-abandonment I had normalized. I stopped trying to fix others and turned inward, finally asking: Who am I, really?

I began studying Ayurveda, and everything clicked. I wasn’t broken—I was imbalanced. My trauma had shaped my doshas. My spirit longed for rhythm, ritual, and rest. I realized I didn’t want to just heal—I wanted to help others do the same. So I quit my job and started building Ajah Veda Wellness. I chose freedom, even though fear tried to pull me back. It's important to me that my brand not only succeeds as a business but also uplifts others and contributes positively to the world.

The Astrology Behind My Becoming

As I reflect on the journey so far, I am filled with gratitude for the support I've received. My hope is to continue growing and evolving, bringing new ideas and products that reflect my commitment to quality and authenticity. This year in 2025, I entered my Pluto square Pluto, Neptune square Neptune, and Uranus opposition Uranus. Three massive midlife transits happening at once. It’s like the universe said: You ready to be who you were born to be? Let’s burn everything else down.

• Pluto square Pluto is the death of my old identity—the fixer, the good girl, the woman who put everyone else first.

• Neptune square Neptune is washing away illusions—about love, work, even God—and showing me a softer, truer path.

• Uranus opposition Uranus is the lightning strike that woke me up. I’m not here to conform. I’m here to liberate.

My Brand: Ajah Veda Wellness

Ajah Veda is sacred. It’s ancestral. It’s personal. At the heart of my brand lies a clear vision and set of values that guide every decision I make. I believe in sustainability, empowerment, and community.

My vision is to bring Ayurvedic wisdom to the Black community in a way that feels soulful, accessible, and real. Not watered-down wellness. Not rigid Sanskrit sermons. But practical healing rooted in rhythm, food, emotion, and story.

I’ve created:

• An Ayurvedic Affirmation Deck designed with us in mind—colorful, cultural, and intuitive

• A digital dosha quiz using black voices to reflect our unique lived experiences

• Self-care kits, ebooks, rituals, and soon-to-be workshops

Everything I offer blends Ayurveda, astrology, and ancestral knowing. Because our bodies remember. And our healing deserves to be sacred.
